Indulge your passion for gardening with a trip to this bloom-filled annual event
Last year was my first attending Canada Blooms. I was like a kid in a candy store: exploring all the booths, attending some of the lectures and shopping in the market—oh, the market! I had to leave to prevent myself from seriously overspending.
This year’s show starts Wednesday, March 17 and runs until Sunday, March 21st. I’m really looking forward to the change of venue: It doesn’t matter what the weather outside is like, the Direct Energy Centre is just so bright when you walk in. It will make for a great entrance to the six acres of gardens that will be on display. And, rumour has it that Martha Stewart will make an appearance on Saturday to showcase her new line for Home Depot.
