Kashi and Evergreen’s Plant It Forward Ambassador

This past spring, I was approached by PR company Strategic Objectives to be the spokesperson for Plant It Forward, a Kashi and Evergreen initiative that will see the creation and/or maintenance of 18 community gardens across Canada. I participated in media interviews, including a spot on CP24 Breakfast and various radio stations, including 680 News and Proud FM. I talked about Plant It Forward, the importance of eating real food and growing your own edibles, and community gardens. Read more »

Savvy Gardening

February 2014 marked the unveiling of Savvy Gardening, a website I launched with three other garden writers. The idea was born when we all met at the 2013 Garden Writers’ Association’ annual conference in Quebec City.
