This is my first article in Canadian Cycling magazine. For the June/July 2014 issue, I wrote a profile about ultra cyclist Peter Oyler and his third Race Across America. I’ve known Peter for a few years (my husband used to work with him at a triathlon store in Toronto) and I greatly admire his dedication to his sport and his extreme athleticism.

I am a freelance writer, editor and author with a diverse publishing background. For over six years, I was the web editor of CanadianGardening.com, where I won a Canadian Online Publishing Award for the Seed to Supper newsletter. I love to write about travel, mountain biking and hiking, and gardening for print and online publications. If I'm not writing, you'll find me in the garden, on my bike or making things.
